100% Syrah. This is a beautiful Syrah, a grape perfectly suited to the granitic soil of the vineyard, and the higher altitude; a gorgeous wine, with a beautiful balance of floral and vegetal character. It also has an eye-catching label and a great name. Black olive, faint creosote and roses on the nose. Ruby robe with hints of purple. A soft, silky mouthfeel that leads into a deep palate, with more olive, a touch of green, and a little bit of smokiness on the finish.
