CB Chianti DOCG 2022
Fattoria Montecchio is located in the village of San Donato in Poggio, in the Chianti Classico wine zone. In 1973, the Nuti Family purchased this estate formerly owned by the famous Torrigiani family who ran a successful wine business at the property since the 1300’s. 100% Sangiovese. This CB Chianti was aged approx. 12 months in 25 hl wooden barrels. All of the wines are made by Stefano Di Blasi, a veteran consulting winemaker in Tuscany. Notes of cherry, ripe fruit and violet. Ruby red colour. A well-structured and balanced wine.
