Description
2023 Chiroubles Cuvée Tradition
by Domaine Cheysson is made from 100% Gamay. Aromas of juicy red berries. Grapes undergo a 10-day semi-carbonic maceration, with 35% destemming, to achieve a balance between bright fruitiness and depth. Maturation continues in stainless steel tanks for four months, preserving freshness and highlighting those vivid redfruit notes. The palate is vinous and long-lasting, with a pleasantly “gourmet” finish that brings you back for another sip. There’s a light, floral lift here that is classic Chirouble, elegant yet lively. Serve slightly chilled (around 12–13°C). It’s a marvelous partner for meat in sauce, game dishes, and Reblochon-style cheese. If you enjoy exploring pairings, try it with savoury tarts or hearty poultry recipes. Domaine Emile Cheysson, established in 1868 by Émile Cheysson, is a historic winery located in Chiroubles, one of the ten crus of Beaujolais, France.
