Description
Ciro Rosso Classico Superiore DOC 2022 The essence of Calabrese winemaking; it feels like a Southern Italian answer to Pinot Noir. 100% Gaglioppo. Aged for a year in chestnut barrels, and finished back in stainless steel. Notes of of forest floor, camphor, sour cherries, brandied cherries, and a hint of mushrooms. Garnet inflected ruby robe. Fresh but deep, complex but easy drinking.
