Description
This is the purest winemaking possible, and it produces a buoyant, brilliant wine that is fantastic now but still has the potential longevity of its more famous neighbours. 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep blue and black fruit filled nose with a hint of spice. Deep ruby robe. Palate is warm and round with balanced tannins and a luxurious finish. Vinified with minimal maceration to emphasize flavour over weight, and then bottled with, remarkably, zero sulfur.
